There’s not much about the company and the product is only sold on their official website.
Seems shady already, but we’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.
Some of the Phen375 claims we found include appetite control, metabolic boost, increased water intake, and increase in muscle tissue.

How To Use Phen375?
We scoured the Phen375 website for directions, but to no avail.
Well, if Phen375 is like most supplements, it’s probably taken with a meal once per day.
The ingredients in Phen375 aren’t anything out of the ordinary. They also don’t seem to cater to the idea that more ingredients equals better which is a good thing, which is what we like, as throwing everything but the kitchen sink don’t really work.
The only thing that stands out about them is how they have a separate formula for their EU customers, as some of the ingredients in Phen375 could be under EU’s watchlist. We like this touch as it means they want to sell to a wider audience.
For the purpose of this review, we’ll be using the US formula of Phen375.
This is literally chalk. While it looks like its main purpose is to provide calcium in your body (and boy, don’t we all need more calcium), the real purpose of calcium carbonate is to act as a bulking agent1.
This ingredient2 is believed to be a special trace mineral which shows evidence of optimizing fat burning and energy production. It works by serving as a cofactor to specific metabolic enzymes which then prolong the fat burning process.
A side benefit includes it being able to balance blood sugar and help maintain insulin levels. Balancing insulin and blood sugar can lead to appetite suppression which Phen375 indicates to be its number one priority.
One study cites:
Human participants receiving chromium picolinate reduced food intake, hunger levels, and fat cravings, as compared to participants receiving placebo. Our human data were supported by animal studies demonstrating that chromium picolinate suppressed food intake, particularly following central administration. These studies indicate that exogenous administration of chromium picolinate suppresses food intake, particularly when administered in large doses.
L-Carnitine3 is probably one of the most mainstream weight-loss supplements in the market, with products such as bottled juices adding the powder to claim weight-loss benefits going back to the 90’s and early 2000’s. This amino acid speeds up fat burning and overall metabolic rate.
Studies say it doesn’t work on its own; you have to exert some extra effort to fully maximize its potential.
The short term administration of l-carnitine has shown performance enhancing properties even under calorie restriction. This implies that if given for a longer period it may exert a pronounced effect.
Studies say dose should be upwards of 500 mg to 1000 mg in order for it to have any significant benefit, and we’re damn sure we don’t have anything close to that. Still, we’re still convinced this is fine and we’ll tell you about it later.
Citrus Aurantium 10% TRIT
This is the natural form of the controversial fat burner synephrine4, but it’s not pure synephrine so it’s not as “aggressive” and should make it easier for consumption.
Synephrine works by boosting the norepinephrine hormone which triggers fat breakdown also known as lipolysis. This fat breakdown spikes energy release which has been shown to help with training performance specially resistance exercise.
This 2015 study say:
100 mg of p-synephrine alone or in combination with 100 mg of caffeine significantly augmented resistance exercise repetition performance and volume load. The addition of caffeine to p-synephrine resulted in faster, more powerful repetitions.
As the study noted, this works best with caffeine which Phen375 has.
This is the world’s most consumed drug and is naturally found in coffee of all forms (even decaf has a tiny bit). Being a stimulant, it works by not just feeding your brain the necessary chemicals for you to wake up and for your heart to pump more blood, it also helps trigger lipolysis similar to how synephrine5 does it.
Unofficial labels of Phen375 say it contains just 75 mg of caffeine. With one cup equivalent to around 90 mg, this dose is fairly minimal but perhaps it’s for the best as you’re not using it to get energized.
Cayenne powder6 is known to make us sweat and reach for a glass of cold water or milk. Since the compound produces heat, it helps break down fat in the form of thermogenesis.
Dose is small only 20 mg, though, but it can still do some damage to fat.
Coleus Forskolii Root
This ingredient activates what we call cyclic adenosine monophosphate or cAMP. This is a big deal as triggering cAMP promotes breakdown of stored fats as shown in research.
The same research suggests that while it does not promote weight loss, it does help prevent excessive weight gain overall:
In conclusion, this study was performed in an attempt to further investigate the effectiveness of Coleus Forskolii on body composition and general markers of health. The findings suggest that 12-weeks of Coleus Forskolii supplementation in free-living subjects have limited effects on body composition and no apparent clinically significant side effects. However, Coleus Forskolii has the potential to positively influence the loss and management of overall body weight possibly as a means of maintaining weight after weight loss.
Dendrobium Nobile Extract
It’s believed to have anti-inflammatory properties7.
Plenty of people even suggests it possesses stimulant properties, but our research has only unearthed this one study using it as part of a preworkout. It could be a novel ingredient, so good call!
How Does Phen375 Work?
Phen375 for the most part looks like it doesn’t really do much based on the formula, but looks can be deceiving.
The formula isn’t bulky or too numerous to count which is always a good thing.
Supplements that try to put popular names in one bottle are ones you shouldn’t even consider buying.
The doses may seem small, but Phen375 is not what you call an aggressive fat burner.
It’s not as fiery as most commercial fat burning supplements, but it’s hot enough to help your metabolism going and your hunger reduced significantly.
Then we have the famous caffeine-synephrine combo which always works no matter where you put it.
What can you look forward to?
The best thing seems to be a boost in energy thanks to the caffeine and synephrine combination.
There could also be some appetite suppressant effect, but we’re betting it depends on the body type as well as the caloric intake of the user.
We’re looking at more energy, some appetite control, and perhaps some sweating due to the synephrine.
Phen375 Side Effects
The clear Phen375 side effects are attributed to stimulants which are palpitations and sweating.
The doses offered shouldn’t give you any trouble, though, as not only are they minimal but the ingredients themselves aren’t really pure or standardized.
Some users of Phen375 report of nausea and acne breakouts, although we can’t say it’s due to the product itself.
